Keir Simmons. If Maddie had been your child

Keir, I  had a hard night sleeping and my sleepless night , down to you. My husband and I  spent sometime last evening, after putting the children to bed , discussing the bizarre text you wrote on your blog. I explained I am not a member of any forum or Twitter . I do not have a comments section for people to agree or disagree with what I have to say. I write for myself . I am a mother, a simple housewife, who loves her children.

Keir, every year we go on holiday and we take my friends two young children with us, they are a professional couple and do not get the chance to holiday for such a long period of time. I am lucky to be in such a position. Keir you seem to have a blind spot and are in denial of what the Police files tell us.


I have a hypothetical question for you. I am now going to change my good friends for you and your daughter, lets call her Madeleine.. I am also going to suggest I take your daughter with my children on our holiday. Things are going well , I ring you each day to tell you Madeleine is having a wonderful time. Then one night you receive a call from me, I am hysterical , I scream down the phone to tell you the shutter where your child and my children were sleeping has been smashed, jemmied, someone has taken your daughter. From your end there would be seconds of silence as the horror of my words sink in, you would then start to babble and ask questions, I would be in no state to answer you.  Your thoughts a jumble, you pick up the phone and inquire about the next flight to Portugal, you book a seat.

On your arrival we see each other, I fall in a heap at your feet, telling you how sorry I am. I explain through my tears how we left the children in an unlocked apartment to go and eat but swear to you we checked on them every half an hour. I tell you it was not my fault , I am a responsible parent. I take you to the apartment but we cannot go inside as it has been sealed off. I point to the window where  Madeleine was taken,  forensics are dusting for prints. Something seems not right,  but you are too upset to think straight, later you remember my words 'a broken , smashed shutter'  But  Keir you could see for yourself, the shutter was not damaged, police were reporting there was no sign of forced entry. The days that followed threw you into confusion, my friends and family still telling reporters of a broken shutter when you knew this not to be the case. You wanted to ask me but you could see I was distraught and the answer to your question, you so desperately needed to know, remained unasked.

Time went by and my behaviour seemed normal to you. It seems you were happy for me to jog and play tennis and laugh outside church, the day of what was to be your daughters fourth birthday. We went against police advice with your blessing, and  released information abouth the defect in your precious daughters eye, information  we were warned could  sign her death warrant, as you rightly say Keir the police did a bad job and we agreed with you.

It seems also Keir when the finger of suspicion started to point at my husband and I you were horrified and made it known through the media I was inncoent of being involved in the disappearance of your daughter. You were pleased when I refused to answer any questions that may help the search in finding Madeleine, you were pleased when our other friends who came on holiday refused to go back for a reconstruction to help find out what happened to your daughter.

In between time we wanted to do something to help you and find her, but  in our own way. Money was pouring in and and many celebrities were now on board including the Pope. I know it was OK with you when we used some of this money to be used 'only' to find your daughter, but we were a bit short of cash and paid a couple of months mortgage.

And Keir, our friend Jane, is'nt she the most amazing woman , we got lucky and the police had a good break, Jane saw the abductor take Madeleine away. But sadly at that time she did not see his face but 'our Jane' seems to have a wonderful gift, she has'memory recall' and months later could tell in complete detail how this man looked even describing his shoe laces, this man ,who took your wonderful daughter.

Almost four years Keir and Madeleine, your daughter, has still not been found but don't worry we have started a petition where those who care, may sign their name hundreds of times to up the interest and thanks to you, you are encouraging them to do so.. Money once more is coming in becaue you see Keir by Spring the money will have run dry and we know we will not  have found Madeleine by then. How do I know,? call it a womans instinct.


Thank-you Keir for all your understanding and how you feel for my suffering. I guess you never think now about Madeleine, your daughter, and if she suffered, your only thoughts are for me and my husband.. I thought that a rather clever sneaky move you played on American TV yesterday claiming' Breaking News' about a reopening when we can only ask for a re-view. I am afraid if we ask for the case to be re-opened we will once again become arguidos and I know you do not want this for me or my husband as I am completely innocent in the disappearance of your daughter as you so very well know and as you say I have suffered enough. I guess what I am saying is, thank-you for lying for us, you really are such a good friend, Clarence Mitchell will make sure you go far.

Keir thank-you my friend it is good to have you on board and speaking in our defence ,although there is not a shred of evidence your child was' abducted' your belief in us is enough.

I think that just about sums you up Keir and your reporting on this case.

If I may make a small suggestion . I think it best for all concerned if you remove and block anyone on twitter and facebook who cares about Madeleine. Keir Simmons, you have caused enough trouble for one day.

I ask you Keir , for all your immaturity, for there is no other reason you have been chosen, other than you are easy to manipulate. If this had been your group of friends who had lost your child would you be so quick to defend them when there is evidence they may have harmed your daughter. Would you not want to know the truth one way or the other? You can no longer call yourself a jouranlist , a journalist is a seeker of truth. Your new job title now is, PR spokesman for the McCanns.

ITN Operation Ore News at 10

It has been reported that the Operation Ore appeal will be mentioned tomorrow evening 9th November, on ITN's News at 10. Well lets see if this happens or will the McCanns overshadow this very important piece of news. Place your bets.

They did it to reporter David Jones and  now it seems the lad who wants to get on in the world of 'journalism' has allowed himself to be used and sold his soul for the small bag of silver that is the value of Madeleines entire life on this earth.Young Keir seems to believe in his own importance and thinks it matters if he blocks anyone with a brain cell on twitter from giving their opinion about the McCanns.   The American report along with  the heading clearly states  re-opening  but Keir does not say re-open he says 'review'. Poor gullible Keir fluffs his lines when he states if ..if..if.. no Keir means, 'when' Madeleine comes home.

Tis almost the eve of Operation Ore appeal and typical of the British Goverment, they are once again creating a huge smokescreen to block out coverage of the greatest injustice brought upon innocent families this country has ever seen.

There will be no reporters scrambling to be first in line to fill their pages with the truth and injustice of those driven to take their lives because of lies , the  families who have been ripped apart , accused, when innocent, who have fought for their day in court, already postponed once, due to the elections last May. Theresa May, quietly removed Jim Gamble from the line of fire without fuss(becoming clearer each day now he did not resign, there was an agreement, his 'golden gong' for good service being polished as I write)   and the British public will never know the truth.  Instead the Media will be filled with page upon page of the McCanns and the re-opening review of the case, this will go on for as long as it takes, just long enough for the court case to die down .

Theresa May,  just another Jaqui Smith , nothing has changed. The bad mouthing of the 'new' Goverment by the McCann's, orchestrated, to make it appear they are on their own. Proof also, Dr.Amarals book will never be published in England, the British people must never know why the McCanns were made arguidos.
I knew it would have to be something big and I knew it would have to involve the McCanns. I knew it would not be a sighting or a new suspect, the McCanns are clean out of both. But new breaking news something everyone wants, the case to be re-opened and a  two-bit journalist( a dime a dozen in the States)Keir Simmons, reporting to convince the public the break we have all longed for, finally coming true.

Keir,  full of himself a few months back when in Washington, bragging and boasting and of course making a few contacts for the future. The American people on hearing this news today would not have picked up on Keirs word 're-view ' but on his colleagues report of 're-opening.' Keir does not say if this means the McCanns will be returning to Portugal to answer questions and carry out a reconstruction along with their pals and the reason Keir does not say this is because he cannot. Keir does not wish to be seen as a liar, just muddying the waters a little by not saying the majic word 're-open' Keir likes to kid himself he has not betrayed Madeleine. The American reporter not picking up on Keir only using the word  'review' is very, very suspect, when the 'Breaking News' was about the re-opening of the case  makes me wonder if this is one of Keirs little contacts he met while in Washington.

Here, today, we see another Clarence Mitchell in the making, Keir Simmons who for the moment has only bent the truth but in the future his job title will be 'Keir Simmons, who lies for a living.'

It seems the Operation Ore appeal and any reporting has been shackled.... Keir would not have been interested anyway, it is a story about truth and justice.Keir has shown today he has no interest in either.

Somethings in the air

The games are over, the McCanns it would seem, out of tricks. If the rumours are to be believed, Dr.Gerald is on his way to Portugal to chat with his lawyers and see if there is someway out of this mess. Something is going on and this time it is serious, the McCanns and their farcical petition to review and not re-open have become a laughing stock. An embarrassment it would appear the new Goverment want no part of. The press also smell it and this time they are not bad mouthing stinky sardine munchers. Without a single word from the media, you can feel a deep respect for Dr.Goncalo Amaral  slowly creeping into the picture, we cannot see it but it is there.

The Goverment will be tested this week when the appeal for Operation Ore begins, will the press be gagged, or will the shackles be removed and the truth told of the greatest miscarriage of justice this country has ever seen?

Schoolgirl Maddie will not want to be found.

Today, I almost feel sorry for the McCanns, my reason, they lied so well there are still those today who believe their story. No, not in the 'alleged abduction' story,  these folk seem to be far and few on the ground, but the lie of neglect. I do not believe for one moment the McCanns or the Tapas 7, neglected their children. The tabloids this Sunday, full of angry parents telling the 'good doctors' whatever happened to Madeleine it is your fault for leaving her alone. Kate McCann, by now must be wanting  to scream 'we did not leave them alone, there was an accident, a dreadful, dreadful accident'' but she cannot, she must continue the lie, for without this lie she must tell what really happened to Madeleine and this she also cannot do, she cannot tell because she lied.

Blogger Greene, is a compassionate man and has written several articles about the McCanns. I thought as the begging bowl , once more on display and the McCanns have chosen to show their woe is me faces I would place it here.

Good to see that the Find Maddie Campaign is ticking over nicely. New suspects pop up with some regularity -most recently a British paedophile being treated for cancer in Germany, a Portuguese market trader of  ”gipsy appearance”  and another British man in jail in the UK-, adverts calling on the public to keep looking (“she might be next to you”) continue to appear regularly in the British tabloid press and presumably financial contributions to the capaign fund keep flowing in. I say this (about the money) because little has recently been heard of the McCanns’ plan -first mooted in april 2008-  to write a book about their ordeal. At the time, a deal possibly worth two million pounds was mentioned, at a time when the existing Find Maddie campaign coffers were running disturbingly low.

Still, with their unerring talent for raising doubts in the minds of even the most sympathetic members of the public, Gerry and Kate McCann have decided to embellish the newspaper advertisement not just with the familiar picture of Maddie aged 3  but also with a computer generated image of what she might look like at the age of six. And what a lovely girl it is! Beautiful eyes, with the tell-tale mark of course, shiny hair combed back behind her ears: a picture of health and happiness. A girl that is obviously being well looked after. Every bit the Maddie we might have known today….if she hadn’t disappeared over two years ago and suffered an as yet unknown fate.

I remain unwavering in my personal conviction that little Maddie is no longer alive. How she died and at whose hands I cannot say; no theory, however outlandish, can be entirely discounted. Identifying a guilty party is well-nigh impossible in the absence of a body or a shred of forensic evidence. Any remains found could always be identified via DNA, but evidence pointing at a killer (or killers) will inevitably degenerate with the passing of time. How much time I don’t know, you’d need a trained medic to tell you that. But let’s not dwell on this, the McCanns believe Maddie is alive and that’s all we have to go on. If she is, though, then what? If indeed she was abducted by some hideous paedophile and subjected to unspeakable horror and abuse she’d be a hollow-eyed waif by now, possibly on drugs, underfed and in ill health. A far cry from the girl with the cheeky grin that the McCanns would have us believe could be Maddie as a six-year old.

So, assuming that Gerry and Kate aren’t stupid, what’s the point of the photographic update? I see two possibilities. Either the McCanns have an inkling that Maddie is indeed dead but, for their own reasons, want to keep the campaign going (you can get used to receiving big cheques in the post) or they believe that she may have been stolen to order, possibly for resale to a well-to-do childless couple. Only in a case like that is there any likelihood that she would look as hale and hearty as she obviously does in the newly concocted picture. It’s a long shot, admittedly, but stranger things have happened.

But finding Maddie alive and well, happily living with a new family is probably the worst case scenario for the McCanns. A girl of six, who has just spent two happy years with a new identity, new family, new friends will be entirely different from the toddler left on her own in a holiday apartment in the Algarve in May 2007. At such an early age, the process of learning new things, adapting to new situations and forgetting what was takes place at breakneck speed. By now she may have no recollection of ever being called Maddie. I know what I’m talking about: when I was nine I went into hospital, I came out again nearly two years later. Older than Maddie is now, with the contact with my family intact, I still had enormous problems readjusting to life at home, fitting in and getting on with my next of kin.

Not to put too fine a point on it: for a long time I felt closer to the man who, for the past eight months, had been lying in the bed next to mine than I did to my own mother. Imagine a young, impressionable child, entirely at ease in her new life, reacting to a family she hasn’t seen for over two years! Or much longer, depending on when she would be found. Gerry and Kate would be strangers to her; and disruptive, unwanted strangers at that. Claiming Maddie back in such circumstances would be a recipe for disaster.

But as I said, this is probably a fantasy scenario. Maddie McCann is dead. But until her remains are found and identified, the circus will continue. Not with my money, though.

The McCanns Crystal ball

The ' good doctors' once more predicting the future and knowing for sure the seven year old schoolgirl will not be home by Spring. I cannot make my mind up, whether they are both completely insane, or the two most evil people to have ever walked the planet.

The McCanns, whose daughter disappeared a month ago, also disclosed how they are drawing up a long-term strategy to keep Madeleine's plight in the public eye. They are hoping JK Rowling, the author, will consent to a bookmark bearing Madeleine's photograph being inserted into the final instalment of the Harry Potter series, due to be published next month. They are also planning a "Madeleine Day" as well as a series of concerts, sports and arts events.

"We want a big event to raise awareness that she is still missing," Mr McCann, 38, said. "It will be some sort of focus around an anniversary. We might have a sporting event, something arts, something music. We have also had backing from certain musical celebrities such as Elton John."

It is now a month since Madeleine was abducted from the family's apartment in Praia da Luz in the Algarve. Her parents were eating supper in a nearby tapas bar when she was snatched while she slept on the evening of May 3.

Madeleine and her siblings, two-year-old twins Amelie and Sean, had been left alone, although their parents were checking on their children every 30 minutes.

From their base in Praia da Luz, the couple, both doctors, also spoke yesterday of their guilt but said they refused to blame each other for their daughter's disappearance a month ago.

"We are in this together and, of course we feel guilty, we feel that we've let her down, we were not there at the moment she was abducted," Mr McCann said. "But we have never subconsciously or consciously thought it was Kate's fault or my fault - we're a couple in this, we're responsible parents."

The Begging Bowl

The begging bowl is one of the primary symbols of the chosen life of the McCanns. Every McCann who has been initiated into Catholic practice carries with him or her a begging bowl on his journey through life. It signifies the surrender of worrying about worldly living and also of concern for tomorrow. The McCanns move through the highways and byways of life with nothing but their begging bowl and their PIs - and their beliefs.

Whatever is put in the bowl in the way of food or money are considered gifts from the gullible. Though the bowl may seem to represent dependence on others for nourishment, the greater symbolism lies in the McCanns teaching of deceit, arrogance and fraud . The bowl is perhaps the ultimate symbol of greed and selflessness. Selfishness

There is a McCann  legend that tells of the young Clarence Mitchell who, after a long period of austerities, had reached a point of great physical weakness. A young woman called Kate, offered him a bowl of  lies, which he took. Eating only what he needed, he discarded the bowl, and was able to continue on his way. The young Mitchell aged rapidly, who by accepting the offering of food  money survived his austerities and achieved enlightenment....' that he is a pratt.'

The lesson in this story points out the wisdom of the deceivers and all those practitioners of the McCanns teachings (tapas 7) are encouraged to walk this path, which avoids extremes. In this case, the extremes are, never tell the truth and if your daughter should die for whatever reason always, always hide her body.
