Gerry and Kate looked at a picture of the child and it is not Madeleine. Remember, Madeleine has a mark in her right eye that runs through the iris. We were heartbroken too that the girl in India wasn't Madeleine, but it gives us hope because it means people are still looking for Madeleine. Official Find Madeleine Campaign After seeing photographic evidence. Kate and Gerry can confirm that the child sighted in India recently is NOT their daughter Madeleine. This has been conveyed to the appropriate authorities in both India and the UK.
