Economist backs Gordon Brown for IMF job : Scotland yard say talks have started with Portugal !

GORDON Brown’s bid to oversee the International Monetary Fund was boosted by the backing of one of the world’s leading economists yesterday.


Sir James Wolfensohn, the former president of the World Bank, said Mr Brown would be an “excellent choice” to take over the IMF.
