New Ambassador to Portugal

Ms Jill Gallard has been appointed Her Majesty's Ambassador to Portugal in succession to Mr Alexander Ellis who has transferred to another Diplomatic Service appointment. Ms Gallard expects to take up her appointment during July 2011.
